At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yuan Shao was determined to unify the north, but could not raise enough grain and grass. Hanfu, his allies, took the initiative to lend him military supplies to help Yuan Shao solve the temporary difficulties.
Yuan Shao's advisers suggested that he try to seize Jizhou, known as "the world's granary", and fundamentally solve the predicament of grain and grass shortage. Jizhou is the jurisdiction area of Han Fu. Although Yuan Shao is an ally with him, he has not paid much attention to his political interests.
Yuan Shao knew that Gongsun Zan also had the heart of plotting for Jizhou, so he wrote a letter pretending to attack Jizhou with him. Gongsun Zan was very happy when he saw the letter. He was ready to send troops. At the same time, Yuan Shao sent people to Han Gun and said, "Gong Sun Zan will join Yuan Shao to attack Jizhou. You and Yuan Gong-ben are allies. Why don't you take the initiative to unite Yuan Gong and invite him to take troops into the city and fight Gong Sun-zan together?
Han Fu invited Yuan Shao to enter Jizhou. After Yuan Shao entered the city, he placed his trusts in the important seat of Jizhou and put Han Fu on the shelf. Hanfu saw that the situation was over, so he had to run away alone.
"Anti-guest-oriented" means that the guest in turn becomes the host, and the metaphor turns passive into active. It was in this way that Yuan Shao seized Jizhou.
